Generating a website

The website generator reads a description and produces a complete site — pages, navigation, sections, copy and images — rather than a single landing page. What you write in the prompt box decides most of what you get, so it is worth a minute of thought.

Writing the prompt

Cover four things and the first draft usually lands close: what the business does, who it serves, what the visitor is meant to do, and anything it must include.

A physiotherapy clinic in Lekki, Lagos. Three practitioners, sports
and post-surgery rehab. Visitors should be able to book a first
appointment and see prices before they call. Needs: home, about the
team, services with prices, a booking page, and contact details with
a map.

The chips under the box — restaurant, portfolio, agency, e-commerce and the rest — prefill a starting prompt for that kind of site. They are a head start, not a constraint: edit the text before sending.

Choosing the model

The composer lets you pick which AI engine builds the site. They differ in style more than in capability — if a first build comes out flatter than you hoped, regenerating with the other engine is a reasonable thing to try.

The builder chat

Sending the prompt creates the project and opens its chat, where the build runs. When it finishes you have a working site and a conversation that already knows the context, so follow-ups can be short:

• "Add a testimonials section under the hero."
• "The service prices are wrong — rehab is ₦25,000 per session."
• "Make the whole site warmer. Less blue."
• "Add a FAQ page and link it in the footer."

What to do next

When the structure is right and only the details are wrong, stop chatting and open the editor — dragging a section is faster than describing where it should go.
