Documentation

Growth and site tools

Live chat, email outreach, integrations and visitor tracking.

Publishing is the halfway point. The Tools menu holds what comes after — talking to visitors, following up with them, and finding out what they did.

Live Chat

Adds a chat widget to your published site and gives you the inbox for it here. You can style the widget, decide which pages it appears on, and answer from Woxelo. Conversations are kept, so a visitor who returns is not starting from nothing.

Only turn the widget on if someone will answer it. An unanswered chat bubble costs more trust than no chat bubble.

Email Outreach

A small email platform, in four parts:

  • Mail Accounts (SMTP) — the account campaigns are sent from. Set this up first; nothing sends without it.
  • Contact Lists — who you are writing to. Import them, or build a list from form submissions.
  • Outreach Campaigns — a single message to a list, composed in the email editor.
  • Email Automation — sequences that send themselves when something happens.

Send only to people who asked

Mailing bought or scraped lists gets your sending domain blocked, and that damage reaches your ordinary business email too. It is not worth it.

Integrations

Connections to the outside services you already use — payments, analytics, email, storage. Anything connected here becomes available to your projects without pasting keys into individual pages.

Visitors Tracking

Who is on your published site, where they came from, which pages they read and where they left. Two things are worth checking weekly: which page loses the most people, and which source sends the ones who stay.

If you track visitors or use analytics, your privacy policy has to say so — see generating a legal page.
