Generating a legal page

The legal page builder drafts the documents a site or app is expected to carry. It writes them around your business — what you collect, who you serve, where you operate — rather than handing you a template with blanks in it.

What it can draft

• Privacy Policy — what you collect and what you do with it. Required by both app stores and most analytics tools.
• Terms of Service — the rules for using your site or app.
• Cookie Policy — needed if you use analytics or advertising, and expected in the EU and UK.
• Refund Policy — expected anywhere you take payment.
• Disclaimer — for advice-adjacent content: health, finance, legal, fitness.
• Acceptable Use Policy — where users can post or upload.
• DMCA Policy — where users can upload material that might not be theirs.

You can also describe something that is not on the list and have it drafted from scratch.

What to tell it

A privacy policy is only accurate if it knows what actually happens. Include:

• What the business does, and in which country or countries.
• What data you collect — names, emails, addresses, payment details, analytics.
• Which third parties touch it — payment processors, email tools, analytics, hosting.
• Whether you serve the EU or UK (GDPR), California (CCPA), or children.
• How people can request deletion, and the address they write to.

Privacy policy for Nkechi's Bakery, an online cake shop in Enugu,
Nigeria, shipping within Nigeria only. We collect name, email, phone
and delivery address at checkout. Payments go through Paystack; we
never store card details. Mailchimp for the newsletter, Google
