Documentation

Publishing and linking legal pages

Where the documents live, and how people reach them.

A legal page nobody can reach does not do its job — stores check for the link, and so do the people you are asking to trust you. Every generated document gets its own public address on Woxelo.

My legal pages

All your documents live under My Legal Pages: reopen one to edit it, publish it, or copy its public link. They are independent of any one project, so a single privacy policy can serve a website and an app at once.

Linking to them

  • On a website — link them in the footer, on every page. Ask the builder chat to add them and it will do the whole footer at once.
  • In an app — a Settings or About screen is where reviewers look for them.
  • In a store listing — Google Play and the App Store both ask for a privacy policy URL during submission. Paste the public link.
  • At checkout — link terms and refund policy near the pay button, where they are expected.

Keeping them true

A privacy policy describes what you do today. Adding analytics, switching payment provider or starting a newsletter all make the old wording wrong. Reopen the document, tell the chat what changed, and republish.

Re-read your policies whenever you add a tool that touches customer data. It takes two minutes and it is the difference between a document that protects you and one that misrepresents you.
